PAINTING TOOLS

Brushes, layers, stamps, colours and the camera.

How do I paint?

  • Pick a product on the left under MAKEUP (foundation, blush, liner, lipstick and more), pick a colour on the right, then draw on the face.
  • On PC: left drag paints, right drag turns the head, the mouse wheel zooms.
  • On phone or tablet: one finger on the face paints, a drag on the background turns the head, pinch to zoom.

What do Size, Strength and Softness do?

  • Size is how big the brush is. Zooming in makes every brush finer, which is great for detail.
  • Strength is how much colour goes down in one stroke.
  • Softness is the edge: high for a blended, airbrushed look, low for crisp lines.
  • Every product remembers its own settings.

What is Mirror?

  • Mirror paints both sides of the face at once, so your eyes and cheeks match.
  • It starts switched on. Turn it off on the bottom bar when you want something on one side only.

How do layers work?

  • Open Layers on the right panel. You always paint on the layer that is selected.
  • Use the arrows to move a layer up or down, the pencil to rename it and the eye to hide or show it.
  • MERGE ALL squashes the layers you can see into one. Undo brings them back.
  • A hidden layer takes no paint. If your brush seems dead, check the eye!
  • A pass in the shop gives you extra layers.

Undo, Redo and Clear

  • They live on the bottom bar. On PC, Ctrl+Z is undo and Ctrl+Y is redo.
  • Undo steps back through everything in the order you did it: strokes, stamps, lash clusters, rhinestones, piercings and layer changes.
  • CLEAR empties the selected layer. It asks you to confirm first, and you can still undo it.

What is the Stabilizer?

  • A switch in the brush settings that smooths out shaky lines. Perfect for liner and lips.
  • With it on, the line follows a little behind your pointer and the brush ring turns pink so you don't forget.
  • It only shows for brushes, not for stamps or stones.

What are the Blender and Wipe quick buttons?

  • Two buttons above the left panel that are always in reach.
  • Blender smudges and softens paint that is already there. Wipe rubs paint off.
  • Tap the lit button again to go back to the product you had before.

How do stamps work?

  • Brow Stamps print a whole brow in one press. With Mirror on you get both brows.
  • Shape Stamps print hearts, stars, sparkles and ready-made eyeliner wings.
  • Hover to see a preview on the face, use the tilt slider (or the mouse wheel) to angle it, then click.
  • On phone: hold your finger down to aim, slide to move, lift to place.
  • A stamp is normal paint afterwards, so you can blend it, wipe it or paint over it.

Palettes, custom colours and saved colours

  • The Colour page has ready-made palettes. Neon colours glow and Chrome colours shine like metal; those two palettes are VIP.
  • Open Custom to mix any colour you like, and save your favourites to use again later.
  • Wherever you see a rainbow block (skin, eyes, hair), it opens the same colour mixer.

How do I pick a colour off the face?

  • Tap the pipette in the Custom tab (or in a colour popup), then tap the face.
  • You get the exact shade at that spot, skin or makeup. Handy for matching your foundation to the skin tone.
  • It reads skin and paint only, not hair, lashes or eyes.

How do I change the skin tone?

  • Open Skin on the right panel and pick a tone, or use the rainbow block for any shade.
  • Picking a product afterwards takes you back to your colours, so you don't recolour the skin by accident.

Chrome, neon and gloss

  • Some paint is more than colour: Chrome colours mirror, Neon colours glow, Lip Gloss adds a wet shine and Highlighter a soft shimmer.
  • The shine appears when you pause or lift the brush.
  • There are also Glitter and Freckles brushes that sprinkle little dots as you draw.

How do I move the camera?

  • The FACE, EYES and LIPS buttons jump to a ready-made view.
  • The small square button by the bottom bar opens the camera pad: arrows slide the view, plus and minus zoom, the curved arrows turn the head.
  • The padlock on the pad is Camera Lock. It stops stray touches from moving your view, while the pad itself keeps working.
